American Illustration 33

Uma ótima notícia nesse ano que está quase no fim... Tenho dois trabalhos escolhidos para fazer parte da coleção American Illustration 33! O primeiro, "Procura-se um Amor", capa do livro de mesmo nome publicado no Brasil pela Editora Salamandra (e que também foi incluído no Luerzer's 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide juntamente com outras quatro ilustras minhas). O outro escolhido foi "Bikefriendly Alligator", ilustração criada para a exposição + livro "Bikefriendly Imagination", organizados pela editora argentina Göoo.

The end of the year is almost here but I still got great news share...! Two of my illustrations were chosen to be part of the American Illustration 33! The first one, "Looking for Love", is the cover of the eponymous book published in Brazil by Salamandra (This illustration was also included in the amazing Luerzer's 200 Best Illustrators book). The second one, "Bikefriendly Alligator" was created for the "Bikefriendly Imagination" art show + book produced by Göoo Publishing from Argentina.

American Illustration é uma coleção que busca reunir "o que há de melhor na ilustração contemporânea"... É sempre uma alegria ver meu trabalho incluído. Em três edições anteriores do American Illustration minhas ilustrações "Fazendo o Natal" (Criada para a Revista Sorria, da Editora Mol), "Rampage" (Poster disponível na Urban Arts) e "Mano a Mano" (Para a Revista Aventuras na História, da Editora Abril) foram as escolhidas, mas essa é a primeira vez que o júri incluiu duas ilustrações minhas. Esse ano a alegria foi em dobro...!

American Illustration - or simply AI - is known to "showcase the best in the contemporary illustration scene"... It's alway a great pleasure to see my work included in such incredible collection. In three previous editions of AI my illos "Making Xmas" (Made for Sorria Magazine, published in Brazil by Mol Publishing), "Rampage" (Poster available at Urban Arts) e "Mano a Mano" (Created for a magazine about history, published in Brazil by Abril Group) were chosen, but this time was the first time that the AI jury choose more than just one. This year the joy was double sized...!
